Whats your favorite thing that your kitty does.

I know its weird and im sure im not alone in loving the little things that my boy does.

My favorite is when he is waking up or going to sleep and he licks his lips. He usually has his eyes closed when he does it and its just so cute and innocent. For some reason it is so cute to me. Sometimes I will move him and kind of wake him up so he will do it! Poor guy

When I get home from work, as I come in the door, 5e makes a loud 'chirrup' noise from the back room, then runs up the couch and jumps to my shoulder. It's a great welcome home

oh gosh, how can we pick just one thing!

Bronxe- he's my soul mate so anything he does makes my heart go pitter-patter i really love when he snuggles up next to me and puts his nose in my ears (like rests it in my ears) and does this like double-time puring sound. i have somewhat associated it with him saying 'i love you'- or maybe i'm crazy lol

Bea- around kitty-dinner time she gets on the kitchen table and leans over so she can see us in the livingroom and meows .. like "hello, dinner time mom" lol

Winnie- she's still so new so we are still learning her personality. when you rub on her really hard.. like massage style kitty love, she meows NON stop SOOO loud!! it's great! she LOVES being rubbed like that and she goes NUTS!

Every morning, I wake up to seeing my little girl sleeping on the bed either at my feet or up against me. When she sees my eyes open, she lets out her little chirping purrrr (in other words, her special happy purr) and runs to my face begging for cuddles and kisses.

At night time, if she is extremely happy, she'll jump to the top of my head and knead, lick my hair, and purrrrrr away.....she doesn't do it often, and I usually am missing a few hairs after her little "session" but it always makes me smile. Love her.

It is very hard picking just one thing.

I would have to go with when I'm putting laundry away Snuffie starts meowing really really loud and if I don't talk to her she will get louder. If I don't answer her at all, when Im hanging things in the closet she will jump up on my shoulder and stay there until all the laundry is put up. lol

When Teeka wakes up from a nap, if she doesn't see one of us right away she lets out this rather panicked sounding little meow. I call her name and she comes flying into whatever room I've called from and leaps up into my laps for cuddles and loves. It just melts my heart every time.

I hear a crash and I go running to see what she has destroyed now--she just stands there innocently, tilts her head to one side and lets out a little "Maaaaa" sound, then sticks her face out to kiss me. It's hard being mad after seeing her little face like that.
The rest of the gang: I love it when they jump into my lap and snuggle me while they purr nonstop. Moody sticks his nose in my ear sometimes to purr.

isn't it just the best sound in the world it tickles my ear but if i could only hear one thing- that'd be it!

After I raise the blankets she'll stand with her side against me and lay down so her body is against mine and then she'll rest her head on the pillow and go to sleep. It's so cute! Or sometimes I wake up and she's awake but just staring at me, she wont get up until I do.

I agree, it is hard to pick one thing. I love her attitude. She is the most affectionate, loveable, clown-like pet we have ever had. She loves HER people, she always wants to be with my husband or me. You just can't look at her sweet little face and not feel warm and fuzzy.

I love that when Greg goes to the bathroom, she jumps onto his shoulder, then head and then onto the windowsill behind his head...everytime!!! And of course this annoys Greg, but it amuses me to no end.

When I get home I open the door to her room (we are still keeping them apart when we are not home...incase someone gets too rough). She will have been sleeping, her head pops up and she starts screaming and comes running to me. She is just so happy to have someone there...after a quick cuddle, she runs iver to Hibou's bed and jumps in with her.

I have a few -

I love when I come home from work and they run to greet me just mewing and mewing.

I love that they follow me upstairs when I say "bedtime" at night to cuddle up with me on the bed.

And my favorite - When they sit on my lap and knead, purr and snuggle up with me.

"Friendly" is a DSH but has a personality closest to our Sphynx boys. Nearly every morning this past school year he would wait at the door and walk each set of kids to the driveway to wait for the bus. He would watch the bus go then repeat the procedure 90 mins later with the next bus run. He was so predictable and popular with the bus drivers and kids, that they would call out and ask about him on mornings he didn't show up.

Lucky you that she lets you sleep until you want to get up!! lol Snuffie every morning between 6am and 630am will knock things off of my headboard until I wake up and feed her. She just stands there and looks at me like,,well get up mama or I wont have to knock things over! lol She always snuggles afterwards tho for our early morning nap to make up for it tho.

When I'm in my computer chair Pedda will sit between my legs, crammed between my belly and the keyboard. Then she stretches way up with her front legs sticking straight out in front of her as far as they'll go. Then she closes her eyes and relaxes against me and purrs while I rub her tummy and armpits. There's just something so vulnerable about her position that tugs at my heartstrings. How can you not love a kitty who trusts you enough to expose herself like that to you? Cause it goes against all animal instinct of protecting themselves.

When I come in Mugs is usually shouting at the door for me, but occasionally he is snuggled up in a fleece somewhere, when he hears me come in he makes a little squeak sound then stretches his head up to give me kitty kisses...this is my favourite thing...apart from all the others! LOL!

I love all these posts!

One thing that always makes me laugh is when Sophie is on my lap and I yawn, she sticks her head in my mouth to sniff it. It is especially funny if she is purring because it makes an echo-ing sound. And it's amazing that she can purr and sniff at the same time- those two sounds together are so funny!

I think my favorite thing though is when I first get home from work she is extra snuggly. She purrs and wants to rub her face on mine. She doesn't want to play or eat (well shortly after!) she just wants me to hold and cuddle her. It's a special time of day!
