When I get Older...

So I have been thinking and I think when I get older ( like 20 years from now) I want to breed sphynxys....just saying it would be cool. I want to experience the birth of a bald baby. Just a dream for someday but I think it would be wonderful!

I could never breed anything because I would keep them all & I don't want to worry about the babies or see them die. I would love to watch a sphynx give birth I have seen it on tv but right there infront of me would be amazing!

yeah, it would be crazy to see little naked babies being born! ive been there for quite a few regular cat births, but not sphynx! they are so sweet when they are tiny!

I know it would be truly amazing to witness. I get too sad thinking of the heartache if things go wrong. Breeding takes a LOT of work, time and expense. It is certainly a labor of love.

I too had thought once upon a time about breeding this wonderful breed. But when I had to go through all the drama I went through to get the kitten I got I decided there is no way in heck I want to deal with all this high school drama going on!!! But I absolutly believe it amazing and think it would be amazing to watch the miracle I too wouldn't know how to let them go. I would want to keep every one of them Good luck to you if you do decide to do it say many yrs down the road :Laugh:

I agree. And I also saw the birth of a baby sphynx on T.V. , but what made me mad is that it was on that "Weird, True and Freaky" show. They were dramatic about the situation making it sound like it was...well, "weird, true and freaky". Yes it's TRUE, but it wasn't WEIRD nor FREAKY. It was exciting to watch! I was "fighting" with the commentator on the show. Too bad he couldn't hear me.
