Hi everyone! My darling miss suki is settling in to the house extremely well post-adoption, and even finally starting baking biscuits for us hehe!
Question for the initiated - she is hairless of course but I noticed teeny, whisper grey-white hairs poking out of her body throughout but especially between her eyes and along her spine / on her booty! The hairs basically fall out if you lightly tug one, with no pain or even skin reaction to it. I know some sphinx’s grow little coats sometimes, so I’m mostly just curious. Are these little hairs her coat-shedding? Do sphynxes sometimes show this during summer (it’s July in the UK so go figure the temps and humidity are odd but warm!)? I’d thought it was a purely winter thing?
She’s the most perfect cat, I’m mostly just curious cuz when my friends meet her, they remark “oh but she DOES have some teeny greys!” And I’m not sure how to explain them! Pic included, you can see 3 or so of said grey whisps
