Why do I love my Sphynx?

I have 2 adult human children. Oh the things the put us through.... When people ask me why I love Abby so much, I reply:

1. I don't care if she graduates
2. I don't care if she goes to college
3. I don't care if she gets pregnant before she gets married
4. She never asks for money
5. She is happy to see me when I get home from work and never starts hounding me for something other than a treat.
6. She is a little bit_h and I love that about her because I am a pushover

What about you, why do you love youe aphyns so much?

I love Lemmy because: 1. He usually does not backtalk me, 2. He is such a snugglebutt in bed, 3. He is always happy to see me....especially when I have food!!, and 4. He's just so darn cute!!

1- I don't have to worry about fur balls
2- I don't have to worry about paying a babysitter in order to go out for the night
3- If I am feeling feisty I can wrestle with my Sphynx
4- I can dress my cat and not hear about how ugly he/she looks. (I may get a pi$$ed of look though)
5- If I'm cold at night I always have a nice little heating pad warming the bed up for me.
6- My Sphynx enjoys a good bowl of ice cream as much as I do.
7- If I don't feel like cuddling with my husband I can move Gio between us in bed.
8- I don't have to worry about vacuuming up fur or brushing my cat.
9- If Gio is talking crap I don't have to listen to it (or shall I say understand it)
10- The best thing I love about my Sphynx(s) is they scare the crap out of my crappy neighbors across the street (they don't know what they are) so they don't bother us.

Awesome thread!!!

I love my Sphynx because:
1. I don't have to worry about getting fur on my clothes.
2. She is so stinkin cute all the time, even when she is bad I can't get mad at her.
3. She is mine and none of my friends have anything like her.
4. She is one of a kind. (Even tho MJ on here has her twin. lol)
5. She doesn't back talk to me and if she does I don't understand her anyway so it doesn't matter.
6. She does the funniest things and no matter how awful my day was she can always make me feel good.
7. She loves to snuggle at night and keep warm and makes a wonderful napping partner.
8. She doesn't fuss at bath time.
9. She can sit on my shoulder while I do almost anything and it doesn't bother either of us.
10. She likes to play with Grandma's dog when we visit and its the cutest.
11. Many more, I could go on forever. She's just great!

I love Harry because...

1. When he wakes me up at 3 in the morning at least the purring and kneading show that he loves me.
2. He sits on my towels while I shower so they'll be nice and warm.
3. He rings the training bells on the back door to show my sister's less than intelligent pug how to let us know it's time to go outside.
4. He never complains about the food I serve.
5. He keeps me warm at night by laying on my head.
6. He doesn't mind when I wear my old comfortable robe.
7. He tries to sample all my food...no doubt to make sure I don't get poisoned.
8. I'm pretty sure he calls me mom (endlessly unless I answer!)
9. He gives eskimo kisses
10. My mom asks to see him now instead of bugging me to have kids!

4. He's unique (although he looks like Leo)
5. He's EVIL!! (except when he's not)
6. He cuddles me in bed (unless he's on the recliner with his own duvet)
7. He makes me laugh with his ridiculous clumsiness! (always!)
8. Everything is on his terms and when he feels like it
9. He doesn't shed on my bed/clothes/carpet/friends etc (only dribbles sometimes)
10. He's mine and no one elses (although I have to share him with the boyfriend)

I'm loving everyone's replies.

1. She's totally an oddball. I'm a sucker for the misfits.
2. Completely lovable.
3. I feel like she can understand me even if we can't understand each other vocally.
4. Even if she becomes vocal/upset over something I have to do, she never holds it against me. There's no awkward silences or stupid fights!
5. She tolerates the girly-girl within me that wants to dress her up and make her a princess.
6. She's innocent at night when she tucks in with me and a nuisance in the morning when trying to wake me up for food.
7. Highlight of my day. I never shut up about her.
8. She has inspired me to find an awesome website that enables me to share the love for the breed!

I am going to have to revise my list after reading all these wonderful reasons to include:

1. Makes me laugh daily
2. Forgives me even after I clean her ears and trim her claws
3. Is the first thing I look for when I get home from work (don't tell my husband)
4. Scares my brother-in-law to death
5. Keeps my belly warm all night

Oh who am I fooling, no list could be complete about why I love that cat....
