...So you can earn more green papers to buy them stuff! I don't blame ya a bit for wanting to go home to that cute bald posse--- who's missing from the pile up? Is Helen in there? Why am I stuck at work today instead of at home snuggling with them?

Brooke, I ask myself the same question everyday...sigh. Today while I was getting ready for work, Piglet was rubbing up against me wanting to be petted while looking at me with her big sad eyes. It took everything I had to leave her this morning. I wish our workplaces would allow us to bring our pets with us...OR allow us to do our work at home so we can be with our pets.
We used to be allowed to bring pets to work. Harold used to come with me all the time (until he got sick, I didn't want to stress him out). I really enjoyed bringing him in, but I definitely wasn't as productive when he was here. He also took a poop on someone's desk once, but it was okay, because she totally deserved it and he got lots of praise from everyone in the office that day!! They recently changed the pet policy because someone brought their dog in with fleas and we had to have pest control come and treat the place. I keep reminding everyone that my hairless cats don't get fleas, so they should be exempt from the rule but no one will listen to me!
I stayed home today because I had a fever & other general yuckiness. All 3 of my boys have been stuck to me like glue and SOOOO well behaved (highly unusual)! Why can't I work from home everyday?!?!
I agree, Kalliee. It's a picture I would put as my desktop image so when the day is going rough at work, I can think about what I have to look forward to at home: Relaxation with no worries!
Most people at work put pictures related to the time of year or pictures of their family on their desktop. . .I'm always putting pictures of Stella and/or Izzy on my desktop. These ARE my children! People just expect it now.
I have a digital picture frame with tons of pictures of Meecho, plus a real photo posted on my desk, plus my screen saver on my work laptop and my wall paper on my work laptop I HAD to delete that damn Gecko:Laugh: It literally looks like Meecho threw up on my desk and god forbid you were to walk by and ask about her because then I can't shut up:Laugh:
HAHA!! sometimes I get to talking about my cats at work and time will go by and i'll notice my co-workers eyes start glazing over...hehehe...of course I keep talking about them anyway!
