Theo is new to my family and of course we are completely in love with our two year old. He is deaf but very healthy and energetic.

I am only worried about the way his breathing sounds when he is playing or running. It sounds like labored, heavy sniffing.

Should I be worried?

Welcome to sphynxlair good to have you.
Is Theo congested? Or has he been sneezing, watery eyes?
I think whether he is or not, sounds like you need to take him
to see the Vet. He shouldn't breathe like that, normally.

Hello and welcome to The Lair! Has your baby been checked by a vet lately ? Just to ease your mind I would go. Just like people and dogs etc when over exerting we tend to get out of breath. But if this is something new or seems worse, it is good to get their heart checked.

Hi & Welcome! Like everyone else said, I would take him to the vet, just to give you peace of mind. We are all worry warts when it comes to our babies, I guess because we love them so darn much. Hope to see more pics of your love bug.
