Wrinkles skin is all dried out and everyone said let her stay like that until next week.
I hate her looking dirty.
I talked to some breeders and they said if i clean it she might start lick where she was cut.
Here are pics from yesterday.
Thank Everyone,
She acts fine and wants to wrestle with Cleo and play but I will not let her.
She is licking Cleo and chewing on her right now.
Cleo is nice to her now also.
Thank God it did not take 3 weeks like with my other cats.
M2M, the incision areas look great. You can do a sponge or wet-cloth bath on her as long as her incision area doesn't become wet. The idea is that liquid can seep into the wound and can cause an infection. By keeping the area dry, you lower the risk. Aside from that, I'm afraid she'll have to wait until the wait is up to have her bath. She looks like she's recovering well
Thanks Sami,
Everything looks good and she does not ave to go back to the vet.
She still has the pain meds twice a day.
I will order more sweaters from you when she is full grown.
They loved the red sweater you made at the last show.
For some reason I am not able to see the pictures? But I'm glad everything is going smoothly and she is healing well! I'm also glad her and Cleo are getting along well. They're both adorable.
Thanks,
I did try to clean off some of the stuff they put on her.
Her skin is very dry.
I am not putting anything near where they cut her.
Should I use coconut oil on the dry skin?
I;m curious to know how long you should wait to bathe them after surgery? Penny was spayed last week and I haven't bathed her yet cause I wasn't sure when it would be okay too.
The vet said 14 days.
What day was she altered?
Wrinkle was altered Jan 18th and she can not have a bath until next tuesday.
She also has a show this weekend.
Try cleaning with make up remover wipes.
You can try make up remover wipes and baby wipes.
Just do not put anything on the incision.
Wrinkles is healing well.
How big is the incision?
Did she get all dried out also.
