If your cat always enjoys sitting in front of you and looking at you with a loving glance, and from time to time talking to you and touching you with his/her paw.The Sphynx wants to be a sure that you are still with him/her – then your cat is Sphynx.
If your cat is running like a monkey over sofa's and armchair's and backrests and sits on your shoulder like a parrot– then your cat is Sphynx.
If your cat looks like an alien from a science fiction movie and his eyes are sparkling with the same unbelievable light – then your cat is Sphynx.
If your cat's ears are like bat's, and his paws are just like childrens hands – then your cat is Sphynx.
If your cat finishes eating your ice cream, which was left without supervision and likes unusual cat dishes such as grapes, watermelons, cucumbers etc. – then your cat is Sphynx.
If your cat likes snuggling with all other pets like dogs – then your cat is Sphynx.
If your cat has his/her own language you have never heard before, and constantly poses to the photographer – then your cat is Sphynx.
If your cat lays on laptops, computers, radio receivers or tvs – then your cat is Sphynx.
If your cat insists to sleep under the blankets with you on chilly nights - then your cat is a sphynx.
If your cat loves rubbing his head against your stubbly 5 o'clock shadow (men only) - then your cat is a sphynx.
If your friends or family come over to visit and say "oh my god, is that a cat or dog?" or "ooooh thats soooo ugly" - then your cats a sphynx.

We just found this morning Kramer loves the Windows Media Player when you put music on & the shapes & colors keep changing, he was entertained for quite a while. Although he thinks the pointer on the screen is a fly or something... he tries to catch it.:tinysmile_tongue_t:

I think the funniest thing anyone has called meecho is a kangaroo. They saw the picture of her in socks and for some reason everyone who sees it that is the first thing out of their mouth. I have to say I much prefer when people say she looks like a dog, then when they call her a rat.

It gets really old when people make ignorant comments about your pets... a lot of people don't like the "egg" head look on the Bull Terriers; I always come up with some sarcastic comment to make back like "your just jealous cuz' you couldn't afford one & had to settle for your everyday cat." That usually shuts them up.

I took ButterBall to Petco with me today. I had to bring him over to a friends while I'm in Vegas and forgot his toilet. So I decided to take him in with me. It amazes me of how many people are not familiar with the breed. I know they're not common but I thought most people knew what they were. There was a group of 10 year old boys that were arguing over what ButterBall was. One could not believe it was a cat. He thought it was a crazy dog. None of the kids would touch him though. hahah

i love bringing them out in public to see peoples reactions. i have had a few people that are too freaked out to touch milky and river too.. i mean what to they think is going to happen!! its pretty funny.

lol that is so right on! OMG! I also love that not only are they piggies..they curl thier tails like piggies too! I love it! He will curl it around my fingers or my wrist..it's wierd but cool! lol I wish I had the money to buy his brother ;o( Two of them would be even better!

I'm enchanted by this cat.....I've always had cats but they are ordinary compared to Pinkz. I've have been totally blown away by his personality and I love putting my forhead to his.....like a mind meld....he doesn't back away.

I don't understand the breed yet.....why would not having hair make their personality so different? If the mutation can happen in any breed, do they still look and act the same? I've got some studying to do....but it's fun.

We have never owned a cat... Kramer is our first, we got him in April. We have never been cat people but decided we wanted one & I just always liked their different look so we got him & we love him so much we are getting a second one in a few weeks! Welcome to the club, they are like chips you can't just have one.

Sphynx are so different and they are my favorite breed of cat now.

It's strange to think the hairlessness affects personality so much, but I notice big change in personality when I shave down my persian for the summer -- she's much more active and affectionate. She'll play longer with me or her toys. She's normally not a lap kitty but she'll let me hold and hug her more when she's bald, I guess for warmth and she likes me patting her skin. Obviously it's not all about the hair b/c she'll never be as active and cuddly as Dobby the sphynx, but you get the idea... I love them both ...and probaby spend the same time grooming/cleaning my persian when she's in full coat as I do naked Dobby. LOL

A friend once told me it's because they don't have their looks to go on! I personally think they are beautiful and I want to get another!

I have a 2 1/2 yr old sulcata. He is about 20lbs and the size of a small turkey platter. He will get to about 100plus lbs. They are very sweet but strong and you have to have really good fencing they cannot see through.

We have a hatchling Sulcata too. Well she is about out of her hatchling stage but she is a really slow grower! It looks like a female so far.
