First Health Checkup?

Good Morning Friends

When I make Piper's first appointment for her 48 hour health checkup, what should I request they do? What do they need to check for exactly and do special tests need to be ran? My contract gives me 48 hours to get her seen.

Just tell them you need a wellness check and they should be thorough. Be sure to bring vaccination records from breeder so as to not over vaccinate.

Do they do any fecal exams for giardia or parasites?

I ask for an extra good listen check of heart n lungs - my vet was known to be very good with heart sounds and even found my bengals knee patella luxation -

Great advice given to have her vaccination record - leaving them a copy for her file- so no over vaccination-
