Best Food

Was going to order nutrasource online but just realized I'm low on food and don't want my baby Hope to go hungry! I only have two pet stores here which are petco and petsmart..... What are your thoughts on Solid Gold high protein chicken.... Any of the Halo food....Merrick....Avo Derm?

Ps. Recently moved to new apt so that's why I didn't nervouse I Usually keep two food bins full and only had one with me for a little bit!

I would check the ingridients of what you have been feeding your kitty and get something as close as possible, especially the grain content, food change can sometimes cause tummy issues. I'm sure any high quality food will be fine.

@Hkay , Nutisource I found only on line in my area too
I did feed Halo Senstive turkey kibble ....

but..... it had mold in it I reported it - first to call in - then some others in California called in with mold complaints - soo Halo (part owned by Ellen degeneres) had a recall of a certain run of halo Senstive turkey dry kibble - I

I did not like that when i was dealing with with Halo they refused to disclose where it is made saying " proprietary " so I moved on .. Chewy actually contacted me about the recall before the rep I was dealing with directly at halo who had my bad bag of mold picked up for testing !
Halo Looks like a good food but hesitant to recommend bcz of my experience.
I have not heard any other problems with any other halo formulas since that one recall .

Mereick I think is owned by P&G now? I have no experience with merrick other than dog people I train with feed merrick and have no issues. Avo Derm was mentioned to me by the chewy folks but I ended up going with Nutrisource cat and kitten since my allergy prone dog does great on Nutisource Prarie select.

Avoderm was Recommemded to me I'm the past but I haven't looked at the imgrrdiemtsingredients closely.

Solid gold - I fed katzenflockin to my bengals many many years ago and had no problems-
Pet supermarket though recently stopped carrying Solid gold -

Admin gave great advice to check ingredients as close to possible as what you feed now
Amd try to mix in slowly - you may see upset tummy or stool changes or blood In stool if too quick a change or totally different ingredients imtroduced too fast .

I keep on hand a can of 100% pure pumpkin in case of any poo issues with food changes
