Hey yall! My 6 month old Sphynx has been having loose and mushy poop despite keeping him on the same food the breeder recommended (royal canine kitten) his poop is unbearable and makes his butt messy. We hear raw is the way to go. What brands do you like? Do we start to introduce it slowly until he is fully switched? Any other tips for helping smelly poop? We bathe him and wipe him (which he hates). Thank you!!

we have several members that feed raw tagging @Sheldon13 , @Xandria and others. I am not a raw feeder personally. I chose not to as I live in a hurricane state and dont want the added stress of prepping food keeping at temps if power out.
many years ago I switched to Nutrisource cat and kitten food with my crew and never looked back. (no recalls, touted for gut health). not in big box stores, I get online. *note it can take several weeks for food transition to see results.
has he had a wellness check? you can bring a stool sample , ask to drop off a stool sample to check for things that may cause poo issues to get a baseline.
members can chime in with tips for butt cleaning. I keep on hand waterwipes.
