I recently started feeding Cleo a raw diet of ground chicken and/or turkey mixed together with Better in the Raw (it's a mix in that makes the raw diet complete). In one week, her poos are not solid but they're not syrup any more and she poos way, way less.
I think I'm a believer! When I adopted her last month, I was told she had IBS. It didn't think much of it until I experienced what that can mean. The poor girl was running to the box up to 10 times a day, stepping in the poo puddles she was making (and of course not covering) and tracking it through the house. I still don't know if she's ever in her life had a solid bowel movement, but this is a great improvement.
I know that there are far more committed people than I am and who feed organs, bones, etc. For now, this has made a huge difference in all of our lives.
