Saphira is a year old. She is allergic to seafood so I've switched her to the poultry and beef varieties of Fancy Feast. I had to stop giving her dry food as a small snack. Her diarrhea has stopped and her skin bumps are starting to go away but she has gas that's the only way I can describe is chalky smelling. I'm probably going to end up taking her to the vet but I was curious if anyone had encountered this or if I should be more concerned. I am able to find information about chalky stools but not chalky gas.

Great to see you! Missed you both!

what colour are the stools?

chalky stools means there’s a problem with the liver.

Her poop is perfectly normal in color and consistency. When she has stomach upset, it is common for her to get diarrhea but I have never ever once seen any kind of chalky look. She just has the smell.

Consider Hills Z/D for skin and stomach issues it’s a hydrolyzed protein. It fixed my girl. They have a money back guarantee.
