How much does pre packaged raw cost you all per month? I was hearing Darwin’s is a good choice but I’m open to other options too. I can’t find anything really on current price. I’ll have 1 female. I want the best diet but I need to be able to afford it.

I make the food and it isn't hard. I buy the meat already ground and the only thing I have to add is the premix (supplement) and water. You stir it all up and that's it. Freeze in small containers.

To make the food you have 2 decent choices. One is to buy meat with bones ground in it from someone like Hare Today. The other thing you can do is buy boneless ground meat which you can buy from human food sellers. IMPORTANT: the premix is different depending on whether your meat includes bones or not.

Avoid grocery store refrigerated meat because you don't know how long it's been refrigerated and meat grows bacteria. Grocery store meat is meant to be cooked which kills bacteria but to feed raw you want FROZEN meat. Whereabouts are you located?

@whatsupRT02 to give you an idea I spend from $40 to $80 for one month of food per cat. It depends mostly on what meat you buy, such as chicken (cheap) vs rabbit (expensive). The idea is to feed a couple of different meats for a better rounded diet. But maybe you can rotate between chicken and turkey if you need to stay around the low end of the range.
