Final Accounting From Christmas in July

I collected $36.58 from the people who put into the slush fund. I added my $4.00 which brought us to $40.58 which I have today donated per your wishes, to the Lair.

Oops! I tried to donate $40.58 but it only took the $40.00, so I will just squander the 58 cents on something frivolous! Or better yet, I will donate some canned food to a shelter from all of us.

We often celebrate accounting Christmas at Christmas and Christmas in July, however I'm not sure if this is a distinctively Australian practice (though I believe they also do it in New Zealand).

After the End of Financial Year discounts, the Snowfields have Christmas-themed events, individuals dress up as Santa or the Elves, and you can obtain pictures of them the next week.


I'm just curious about what July Christmas looks like there.
