My neutered male Sphinx, Shaggy is growing white fur on his tail. Is this unusual?

@Wildekat13 , there is no guarantee of hairleasness. You wull see sphynx with various degrees of fur here on sphynxlair
. The thread link above helpful.My first nakid avatar photo Yoda had some fluff fur and more or less during certain times of the year. My tobylove had slight velvety paws n tail fur, my other 3 completely nakid. Hugs n head smooches Shaggy. Love to see pics of Shaggy!

How old is your boy? Mine used to get a little tuff at the end of his tail during the winter months but he has out grown that stage this last winter it never appeared. I only noticed this now since you posted your message he turned 5 at the end of April.
When I looked up cats ages in human years they state a five year old cat is equivalent to 35year old man Which is about the right time baldness starts setting in.

Our latest girl has a fully furred tail and boots, I love it so much! Better for litter tracking, not sweaty lol. My heart cat had boots and little ear tufts, so she makes me so happy even though she’s a mink vs point. The kitten has always had a fluffy tail tip. I like to pretend it’s my moustache Heart boy and our last foster male had very naked tails
