Gotcha!

We are so happy to welcome our new boy Chebdi in our home and in our hearts. He is 13 weeks old. A tiny but very dapper little boy. He entered the house and within five minutes he was playing like he owns the house!

Unfortunately there is a ban on breeding Sphynx in the Netherlands since last year. And you can only buy a Sphynx untill january first, 2026. That is why I didn't post before that we might get a kitten.

We named our boy Chebdi, what means 'my liver' in Arabic. In Arabic when you want to say somebody means the world to you, you say 'you are my liver' cause well...without a liver you will die. We thought this is a fitting name for one of the last Sphynxes in the Netherlands.

But no sadness about that today cause Chebdi is in the house and that means....parttime.

Felfely, Saheri and Chebdi have the same dad so they are half brothers/sister. Toa (Sphynx), Felfely (Sphynx), Pashmak (Pomeranian) and Chebdi are from the same breeder. Only Saheri comes from another breeder but from the same dad as Felfely and Chebdi. So all pets in the house are related, that makes me feel blessed!

Chebdi is playing, did already eat a little bit, peed and had a very big poop in the litter box. Always so reliefed when everything seems to be going well with adapting to the new home.

This is his mom...he looks so much like her. The same face and the same softness to touch and personality

@Yoda mom @Annejo12 and @Cleopatra Beers thank you so much. He is such a confident happy boy. The introduction with the other 3 are going very easy. He just pretends he always lived here and they seem to accept it. Same with the dog, runs to the dog like she is his best friend. The breeder owns the mom of our dog so maybe he feels we are all family?!
@Cleopatra Beers In Germany there is in some parts also a ban but didn't hear of a ban on the other countries of Europe luckly.

@Catzzzmeow the first night we slept in the living room and he slept on the couch until he woke up, started yelling to hear where I was (on the floor next to him) and he came running to snuggle with me.
Sunday night I slept in my own bed since the introductions with the crew went really well. He jumped on the bed, shoveled himself under the blanket, curled up against me and stayed there all night. It's getting crowded in bed. Luckly human #2 is not home the coming weeks;-)

It’s amazing how quickly he has made him self at home. You must be secretly happy you have some extra bonding time while Aref is traveling LOL. Love those babies up big time.

Aww congratulations on the new addition! Sounds like he’s made himself right at home. Always a blessing when it’s that easy to introduce everyone. He is adorable and does look just like his mama. Love the meaning behind the name. So silly that they are banning the breed. I wish it wasn’t so.
