Hello! I go by Andy and I am located in the New York area (unfortunately).
My favorite color is red, and my favorite food is pizza (unoriginal, I know). My favorite hobbies are creating art , reading & writing fictional stories.
I LOVE animals and adore doing research on various species in my free time just to learn what I can. My favorite fish is the Gulper Eel. Did you know that their skin is close to the color named Vanta Black? Their skin soaks up all the light in the area--leaving them unreflective and looking like a black void in the ocean. Pretty neat huh?
I currently have 2 lizards; a Bearded Dragon named Azazel and a Leopard Gecko named Charlie. In my house, I also have 2 birds: a cockatiel named Antonio and a parakeet named Shylow.
Recently--I lost my 17 year old heart cat, Midnight:
she was the best thing to ever happen to me. She would follow me from room to room and would sleep on my arm, under the blanket right at my side every single night. My lovely lady unfortunately went into heart failure and we ended up having to put her down a few weeks ago.
A few days ago, we ended up adopting a new girl named Ruby Sue!
She is a very energetic 1 yr old with a lot to learn.
My favorite kind of cat is a Sphynx cat, but I do not have one yet! By being here I hope to further learn about them--and maybe even find one of my own! We're hoping to find an older one to teach little miss Ruby Sue the ropes--and give her a playmate.
