Help me name my sphynx!

While I'm not yet sure if I'll be getting a male or female kitten, I've been trying to come up with possible names. Please help me! I'm thinking about Matilda for a female, open to other names, but I've got no ideas for a male.

Getting my boy in two weeks. Have decided on Buddy as they truly are loyal friends. So excited for you. My girl who is 6 months is called pixie. Pixie and buddy will be siblings from different litters. Doesn't matter what you call them, they will respond and love you for hours. Failing that open a tin or packet if you want them to come to you, never fails!

It might help to pick a theme that's how I came up with Astrid. The family dog's name is chappie (based off the movie) and Astrid is a character from the television show The Fringe. So I kept with the theme of TV/Movies. It made it easier to narrow it down lol

I was thinking maybe old man names or names of Greek or Norse gods lol

Those would be awesome! Haha is there a god of curiosity? Would be kinda appropriate to the breed haha

Children's tv and book characters usually provide good inspiration too. Try website nameberry also, loads on there!

@Maddie I was googling Egyptian names just because...you know...he'd be a sphynx and there's the sphynx of Giza. I thought that would be a little silly and cute. Well, anyway, I thought the name Bastet was interesting.

Don't know a God of curiosity -- but I know:
Tabris is the Angel of Free Will.
Raziel is the Angel of Supreme Mysteries.
Michael is the Angel of Chaos.
And of course, you have some Angels of Confusion: Mehuman (Confusion), Biztha (Destroyer of the House)

(Incidentally... I write about Nephilim. So I tend to know rather a lot about angels, as well as fallen angels and what they do, did, and whether they fell, jumped or were pushed lol.)

I like the name Tabris, specially now I know what it means.

Pandora isn't a goddess. She was the first human created in Greek Mythology. And I guess if she'd be anything, it would be Disobedience lol.
She's a lot like Eve, because both were the first woman created, and both disobeyed. (Eve with the apple, Pandora with the box -- which was actually a jar.)
Yes, Bastet (or Bast) is the Cat Goddess.

Oh, and just as a "WTF" note: All Angels...are in male form. (That's Patriarchy for you...)
