Less need for baths when fed raw?

I've stopped giving him my sphynx baths. He just doesn't get dander and he isn't oily. I can hold him wearing a black t-shirt and he leaves nothing behind. He can sleep on a light colored blanket without turning it yellow.

Occasionally I have to clean dirt of his head or neck where he can't easily groom himself. And sometimes he gets some gunk accumulated in his nail beds, but that's about it. There is still ear wax but not so much that I need to clean his ears more than one or twice a month.

I've been feeding him raw food since last December, when he was four months old. Has anyone else noticed their cats have healthier skin when fed raw?

No i havent noticed a difference, because i also started using D'grease shampoo on mine the same time and i always thought its the shampoo that i can go now 2 1/2 weeks without bathing instead of once a week.

I've been feeding raw for a few months.. One is still getting pretty filthy and the other not as much. I've definitely noticed their skin is nicer and they look much leaner. I hope they get less oily over time. That would be great! All sphynx are different in how much oil they produce though. I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway ;)

I've been feeding raw since Fall 2012, and I noticed a huge difference within a month. I bathe mine about every month, or even less. He doesn't get oily or dirty. I just clean his ears and nails every week.

We feed raw, and I try to bathe them every week but we can go 2 weeks no problem. Molly barely gets dirty, and her earwax is almost nonexistent. But I noticed that got better as she got older too. Funny story, we had them at the pet store and the Royal Canin rep saw them. She couldn't get over how strong and healthy they looked, and commented on their nice skin. Thankfully she didn't ask what they were eating!

My kitties have been eating raw for over 1 year now. I can go 3 weeks without a bath. I try not to though, only did it because of the cold weather we had. But they don't get oily and their ears stay cleaner longer. Their nails are always dirty!!!!! Their skin is so soft and clear they seem to be very happy
