I really hope this is okay to post here. I just got an email from the breeder we chose and little guy that I was supposed to getting in December aspirated on his food and developed a terrible case pneumonia and has passed away even after she did everything she could for him, he was only just shy of 7 weeks. I am so beside myself and sad. I know I didn't have him yet with me yet, but I chose him specifically and put a deposit down on him and he definitely felt like "mine".

Rest In Peace little guy, you were so loved.

I am so sorry to read this news. They enter our hearts from the minute we know they are ours, not when they come home. 6-8 weeks these guys are still so fragile. I am sure your breeder was just as upset. RIP little one...you were already loved.

I definitely will. The breeder has offered me first pick of another litter that is a few weeks younger. This was such a sad experience but I'm so ready to have a sphynx in my life.
