My sweetest baby boy, Chase

My sweet baby boy passed away yesterday at 4 and a half months. He suffered from a heart condition that was either genetic or caused by an infection. Vets are unsure and I’m stuck in this limbo because I don’t know if I missed the signs of infection or if I fed him anything that caused this.

Chase was my very first sphynx. I have loved the breed for a really long time so when I finally decided to get one, I was so excited. When I saw his sweet face for the first time, I fell in love with him immediately. Then I finally got to hold my baby boy for the first time and we bonded so quickly. He was the sweetest and most loving boy on the planet. My heart hurts and is filled with so much guilt.

I share in the immeasurable hurt as my first sphynx avatar pic Yoda girl got her angel wings young age heart related as well. I waited 15 yrs for my first sphynx and she got her wings. please be gentle with yourself. I know there are no right words for such a great loss. I truly know the ache. may our babies be running free together.

Chase only knew your love, and that is everything. here for you. I truly understand. Remember the love, soo much love.

I am so sorry to hear that your little man Chase has passed, I know you must be heartbroken . Try not to go over the "what ifs" , sometimes nature can seem harsh and there was probably little you could have done apart from give him so much love. Sending hugs xxx

Oh wow. What a shock this must have been.

Fwiw I highly doubt anything you gave him caused this. The most likely cause is genetics.
