Congrats on your new baby!! He is a cutie... but then Gulliver is a stunner as well!!
I see that you live in the Chicagoland area... burbs? I live in the south suburbs. Was wondering where you got your babies? (not looking for another) was just curious because the breeder I got my Gizzy from has moved and I was not aware of another in the chicagoland area.

My breeder is actually in Nebraska, we have met halfway getting both of them

Yes.. they are well worth the road trip, huh??

Now that I know what this breed is like, there is no distance too far and no price too high.... Can't put a price on happiness!!

So glad to know that I am not the only goofy sphynx owner in this area! Winters are tough on the babies, huh?

They sure are worth the trip. I've only been through one winter with Gulliver, but we keep the house warm and have blankets for him to curl up in. I just saw a heated dog bed at petco the other day, I really want it!! Also skin gets a bit dry, but I use coconut oil before the bath and that seems to work good

I do the same with the heat. I got Gizmo a heated pet mat (looks like a heating pad) that slides into the bottom of a bed or under a blanket. He was addicted for about a week and then went right back to snuggling up to me when I am around. I prefer that anyway, but he has the heater for when I am at work.

I got mine at Drs Fosters and Smith. They had a lot to choose from. (FYI)

Hi ,i,m hoping to get a little boy tommorrow night .He will be traveling via a courier to me .it will take around 7 hours to get to me .He is a seal point minx coloured sphynx I ve only seen pics of him , The dealer seems genuine and very nice and i only need to pay for the courier service tommorow she will send for payment after ,but untill he arrives i'm scared to believe he is coming incase i get let down ,I'm trying to have faith but seeing is believeing

Not to rain on your parade, but make sure you do not send payment for the courier before you get the cat. It is a very common scam to ask for the money for the shipping costs and then they send you the kitten...except you never get the kitten.

If you know the breeder then, I'm sure it is all legit, but otherwise be cautious. Have you gotten more than just the one picture? The scammers will often steal a picture from someone and use it to 'sell' a kitten or cat. Most breeders ask for the money upfront for a kitten, ar at least a deposit, with the balance due at receipt.

I don't mean to be the party pooper, but this is sending up some flags in my head.

I thought the same thing because that's how I almost got scammed. I really send my best wishes and hope all works out.
