I know the garden centre in Epsom stocks raw food, but I can't remember the brand. I *think* it was Nature's Instinct, but I can't be certain.
Pixie didn't touch it, at all. Not even once. (She doesn't eat any human food, either.)
I've tried different brands a few times, and she just turned her nose up at it. Any of it.
There is one who delivers, but I can't remember the name. Google is your friend.
Hi, I would be interested to hear some advice on raw feeding in the U.K. too please. I have recently switched mine from allergy vet food to natural instinct raw and have seen a massive improvement to their previous skin/ tummy issues, although I was lucky that both mine took to it straight away.
I had a look at a few different brands including natures menu, purrform and natural instinct. I chose natural instinct to start with because I found a few local shops that stock it, as I didn't want to bulk order and then find that they didn't like it. You can order it online but I think there is a minimum order so until I get a second freezer I can only store small amounts at a time. There's quite a few different flavours though, including a venison one which is good, although there is not too much variety for Sphynx with chicken allergies. They have some complete and balanced foods and some just pure meat foods which they say are a base in order to create your own recipes with and add supplements or can be used as a treat.
I tried natures menu too, all of the cat ones contain chicken so again not suitable for chicken allergies but there is some pure meat minces in the dog range that just contain 100% meat which I sometimes use as a treat and as a bit of variety. I think I saw somewhere on here that someone uses these minces as a base to form their own raw recipes as they don't contain all the supplements needed to feed on its own.
The other one I looked at was purrform, they have a lot of rabbit based products as well as a few chicken/ turkey ones but there is very limited places to buy from in the uk so mainly online orders and again I think there is a minimum order amount.
