Hello everyone. I am looking to re-home my 6 year old sphynx female named Frankie. She is generally sweet and friendly (will come and greet visitors, will jump up to sit on your lap and purr there happily) but doesn't like to be picked up/carrier around and is best if handled gently and allowed to seek affection on her own terms. The main reasons we are rehoming her is that she does not get along with our other two cats- despite very careful and slow introduction the fighting between them has only gotten worse (recently resulting in an injury to one of the other cats eyes and small scratches to Frankie), and the fact that after having my daughter (along with 3 older step kids) I simply do not have the time or energy to spend with her or to care for her the way that I used to. I think she would be happiest as an only pet and in a home without small children, and would love to find someone who has previous sphynx (or at least cat) experience (though not a deal breaker) and will be kind and patient with her (she is very keen about jumping up on counters or sneaking food if left unattended, occasionally poops next to instead of in the little box and will need support to re-establish a more consistent bathing routine). I am asking a rehoming fee of $250. Any one interested please provide as much information as you are willing regarding your home situation, previous pet experience, and anything else you feel is relevant. We are located in Swarthmore, PA outside of Philadelphia. Will attach photos soon but just wanted to get this out there. Thank you so much!
