I have read @Xandria's dietary guide for raw meat very carefully and benefited a lot. Thank you for sharing.
I want to share the experience of raw food feeding in China and share information so as to find differences and make more correct choices.(Only for cats.)

In recent years, raw feeding is very popular in China. Although there is no relevant regulatory authority, this does not affect everyone's enthusiasm for raw feeding.(At least that's what cat owners in my circle do.)

Ways to buy meat
We will always pay attention to the discount information of meat merchants in supermarkets or on the Internet, so that we can buy cheaper meat, but only white meat will be bought domestically.(Such as chicken, duck, goose, rabbit, ostrich, etc.)Deer meat, beef and mutton, which we usually buy from New Zealand or Australia, We think that these Chinese red meats are not safe to eat raw.We also feed pork. If we need raw food, we usually buy pork from Chile and Spain.
Some people will steam it, so don't worry too much about meat safety, but there may be some nutrient loss. If this is wrong, please tell us the harm.

Storage and sterilization
We will deal with the problem of colonies and parasites by long-term freezing.Of course, some professional meat traders will introduce that their products will be sterilized by radiation, but I think it is not credible because there is no organization to supervise these products.
Fresh rabbit meat will be frozen in the refrigerator for about 15 days, and fresh poultry will be frozen for 3-4 days. We will feed imported venison, mutton and other red meat directly, because it has been frozen here for a long time.

We usually buy a month's quantity or even longer, and then set it into pieces according to the proportion, but few people will crush it.I will vacuum-pack it according to the daily amount and put it in the refrigerator.

About proportion and additives
1.Liver 4%-10%(Usually 5%, if there are no other internal organs, it can be added as appropriate.)
2.Other internal organs (kidney, brain, pancreas, spleen)5% , It is not necessary.
3.2-4 eggs per week
4. musculature10-20%,Such as heart, gizzard,lung
5. More than 80% of meat, The approximate ratio of red meat to white meat is 20% to 40% of red meat.(Note that muscle tissue is also meat.)If you can, fish can also be counted.fish must be cooked. But many cats are not interested in fish or even a little exclusive. So we will use fish oil instead.
Red meat will retain fat, while white meat will be peeled to remove fat.Because too much poultry fat will lead to too much omega 6.
6.mussel 3%-5%.We only add mussels occasionally, but my cat doesn't like them, Additional manganese can be added instead, but I usually don't feed it, because the supplement is a whole tablet, so it is difficult to calculate the dose. There is no relevant data to prove that manganese is essential for cats. Please correct me if I am wrong.
7.Add 0.6g calcium carbonate or 0.6g eggshell powder or 1g calcium citrate to every 100g meat. We often use calcium carbonate. We don't usually feed bones.
8.Give a vitamin B complex every two days.
9.Give one vitamin E every 1-2 weeks.
10.700g of meat can be added with an iodine tablet of Now Foods. But I often use life-flo's Liquid iodine plus.Because he is very convenient, he drips 1-2 drops with a straw every day.

11.1kg of meat with 0.5 taurine,Of course, it can also be supplemented with enough muscle tissue, such as the heart.
12.Two pills of fish oil every week, because my family doesn't eat fish. This depends on the content of fish oil. We are more popular with VIVA and WHC brands.
