Which type of crystals was he diagnosed with? Prayers sent no surgery-
My adoptee hated the prescription food - got his antibiotics, ate non prescription life's abundance canned food and ten days later crystal clear - think it was stress related from the move -
He finally tried an RX urinary food thru chewy.com the hills c/d stew version that ended up way cheaper then vets price- not sure which brand you will be feeding - this was the only one he would eat. Though hills could not tell me what magic ingredients is in their food that didn't look so great
FYI- Last two cases of hills cd stew he walked away from so trying some other canned non rx food with lower phosphorus %
I would definitely ask your vet about the raw chicken for your boys case
