Where to find ground chicken

Hey,

So I use BITR and I add it to turkey or beef, the beef is a bit harder on there tummy's so I wanted to try ground chicken, But, I cant seem to find ground chicken. Do most people that feed ground chicken either grind there own or buy the already processed raw from the pet store? Do grocery stores carry ground chicken?

Yes, I find it next to the turkey. I havent found a "brand", but the store itself puts it out. Its house wrapped in the Styrofoam/cellophane package with a meat market tag. You can ask the butcher section if they do this.

I get mine from Wal-Mart. With the fresh chicken. Ours in next to the ground turkey.

I'm glad this thread was started! I was about to go buy some turkey to get my food ready for my baby to come home and I didnt think that they sold ground chicken! I'll have to look Do you guys mix different meats together like the chicken and the turkey? or is it better to just feed one at a time?

i have a little Butcher here around the Corner, that Grounds the Chicken fresh for me
Try to find a little Butchershop and ask.
You can also find it in the reg Grocerystore by the Ground turkey. They usually have only a few out in our stores.

i use BitR too. I mix my Beef and chicken , i also make double the ammount, so i make 2 lbs of beef ground and 2 lbs of chicken ground and mix.
Sometimes i use turkey, but my older Cornie dont like it too much as the ckicken.

Thx guys for your help, I went to the grocery and you were right - it was right there close to the turkey, I just wasn't looking hard enough.
