Yes we had full panel testing done liver and kidneys fine. We are hoping he had a UTI and was losing blood that way. We will know when we take him back for full testing again after he is done with meds...but either way we see him definitely slowing down and not psycho kitty any more. He is all if a sudden finicky about food and that was never an issue with him. He looks really good now.

I am voting YES
Because I have starting saving toward a new naked also. My Loki is also not doing well. And I can see our time is limited also. We will not get anyone else as not to stress out my two 14yr olds but we will more than likely have another naked within a year.
So I can emphasize with your situation. But getting another kitten now for Jouet would mean easy introductions so I would go for it.

Hmm i think 2 is a handful at times and expensive if there is a vet visit to be made.
But in the future (Proper house) i might get another , 3 would be my ultimate though!

We live in a condo and 3 cats is the limit...or we are fined $50 a month if over 3 cats as association is afraid of cat hoarders(pathetic). Since our Bengal is 16 and we are starting to "feel" signs of him aging we just talked should we think about another Sphnyx and just keep the blinds closed down stairs so no one knows we have 4 and we do not get fined ...lol. This way Jouët has a friend and someone who keeps up with her. Hubby just said if we get 13 yes votes from the Lair we should just go for it Who says just do it or play by the rules (either way we would pay the fine)

We are only suppose to have 2 cats... we have to pay pet rent.... but we have 4... they are hairless and there is no trace of us having cats, unless you actually see them. They have their own closet with their litter boxes in it and stuff... so no one sees them.

Big sigh...we still do not know. He is 16...$500 + later and we have no answers. He will be finished with antibiotic and steroid this week and we will take back for more tests next week. He is doing SO much better, and is more like the Loki we know, love and drives us crazy...lol but we are realistic. We see signs and do not want to be taken off guard like our loss with leeloo. His tests showed he is anemic...after meds we hope to see improvement that sustains, but we truly understand. I have worried 2 weeks sitting with him, trying new foods, baby food, hand feeding, force feeding etc. I cannot enjoy my own meal without checking on how he is doing....gulp. That is just me. He looks good and has that twinkle back in his eyes, but my gut says something else and if you follow my posts...always and I mean ALWAYS trust your gut...it is seldom wrong.

I know exactly what you mean. I always thought Squeaks had something more wrong with her and all the other symptoms were masking it, especially when she had some rare bacterial infection followed by hyperthyroidism when she was only 3 years old. I am always right on top of any changes in my babies' behaviour, eating, potty habits, etc. I know you're taking the best care of Loki and he knows how much he's loved.
