After I got done giving my pride manicures and pedicures as well as cleaning out their ears this evening (preparing for their baths tomorrow), my husband made me realize that I had just cleaned and cut 90 little nails and 10 ears.

I couldn't believe it as I've got it down to a science and I'm fast. Felt like it took me no time at all.

Now tomorrow's baths will be fast except for filling the two kitchen sinks (my faucet no longer has good pressure for some odd reason, but the sprayer comes out full-force).

Anyone else needs manis/pedis? Come on over! :) What's a few more? :)

Wow, your like a assembly line. I, would, take you up on the pedicure and manicure
But, I, had them this evening, for myself. Besides NY, is too far to drive for that ;)

If only I lived close by.... I'm intrigued by how you manage to bath and pamper 5 kitties.

As a side note, how can 5 kitties only have 90 nails? I'm pretty bad at math but something is off lol

Iam almost there with you Robin, I think I will stay with just my four kitties. ;) (for now) yesterday the two that get dirtiest got their baths. I was too tired for a full on groom but everyone gets nails and ears today I am refreshed after falling asleep so early. So after church they better be ready. Hopefully I can post some new photos been a while since everyone has seen my crew.

Just how fast are you anyway?

They have 5 nails up front on each front paw so 10 front times 5cats that's 50 then each back paw has 4 so that's 8 back times 5 cats is 40... 50 front nails plus 40 back is 90...

They only have 4 on the back?!?

I feel stupid right now :-/ but I have cleaned his nails yet and all previous cats I've owned were declawed (before I found out what a horrible thing it is) so I never had to pay attention to their nails.

My two miniature poodles went to the groomer this a.m., but last night I brushed and brushed and combed and combed them until they looked and felt like a chenille bedspread. LOL

Aww, I wish you lived closer too. It would have been a pleasure to show you my quick routine.
I'm bad at math too, but maybe you are thinking that there are five digits on the back feet? There is only four, but five on the front paws. Is that what was throwing you off?

I really should look at the clock next time I do spa day here. All I know is that I get every bit of dirt off of their feet (even in between the toes LOL), on the nails and under the folds and I still think I'm quick.
Bath day (usually the following day), I bathe each one 2X and rinse very well and I still think I'm fast. It actually takes me longer to fill the sink and a half than it actually does to bathe one sphynx 2X!

It's chilly here (even with the heat on) so no baths today. Robin what's your secret to cleaning their nails?

I wrap them in a towel and only expose one paw at a time that I'm going to work on.
I take a washcloth with (hot) water and Johnson & Johnson's Baby Bath (or you can use Pet D'Greaser which is EXCELLENT for this) on the washcloth and I first clean the paw pad, in between the toes, then the nails and then the folds. I pick up the scissors and snip away.
On to the next paw and tuck away the one I just finished, and so on until complete and on to next cat...REPEAT until 90 little nails are ALL clean and nails snipped.

The Pet D'Greaser on a washcloth with hot water will amaze you how fast they get those nails and feet clean. IF you let more than a week go by and your cat tends to be more oily than usual, you'll find it a bit more work to remove the nail dirt.

Well your cats are a lot better then mine. They fight with me to cut their nails never mind trying to clean them. And if I try to wrap them in a towel or blanket they go mad. I have the D'Greaser I've tried that, I have coconut oil I've tried that. They just hate it. But they are good durning their bath so I have that.
