Check out this picture! I just looked in on the kits and was looking for Valentino--he is normally off to the side or partially under the others.....but I pulled back one of Othie's legs and this is what I saw....look at the last kit by Othie's head...

Valentino is latched on and actively nursing!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!

I was afraid to logon here, I was so worried... You sounded so calm in your post but I knew you were worried as Hell! Let's hope he continues suckling and getting strong....:ThumbsUp:

You know me too well, Sandy! Yes, I was frightened for him--I tore the house up looking for a catheter to tube him and couldn't find one---then I remembered the cats chewed it up last time because it smelled like the formula. I was just glad I had gotten up early and that the vet was still open. It isn't my vet, but they sell me stuff, so it was good. I wasn't looking forward to 6-8 weeks of feeding every two hours, but I would've done it in a heartbeat to save this little guy. I have checked him a hundred times so far today and he has usually been attached to a nipple and vigorously suckling. His belly is round and he's looking great color wise. I am happy beyond belief about him--he's a tough little dude!

Still going at that nipple?? Yiiiiiiiiiipppppppeeeeeeee! I feel for ya kid... I'd be in a puddle of panic juice about those babies! You're such a good mummy! I could never do it, so I'll just keep getting babies from you! LOL

Yesterday morning he weighed 2.9 oz.--way too small. Just now he weighs 3.9 oz. and the girls weigh about 4.2, so he has almost caught up in 24 hours. He goes right after that nipple and fights for the milk like he needs to do with five little piggy sissies to share the nipples with.
I love his spunk already! My sister called today and she has named them all---except Valentino who I named: The little cream colored girl is Tapioca, the red girls are Saffron, Curry and Paprika and the little Van girl is Shoofly Pie--Their nicknames will be: Tappy, Saffy, Curry, Rika, and Shoo Shoo. Valentino will be Valentino or maybe Tino. I really wanted to call one of the girls Esmerelda, but she likes to name them and it means alot to her, so.....they are the Spice girls--except Shoofly Pie and Tapioca. And Valentino of course.
Maybe Esmerelda is one of Habibi's babies.....I also like the name Frost and Rainbow or Raindrop, and I'd love to have a little Tater Tot and a Noodle. I also like Sparrow....but Miss Debbie will do the honors most likely.
