A Furrytale

[Toa and Ross]

in January of this year I came to live with Toa, Ross and Natasja. When I arrived I had a little bit of fur on my tail. The breeder I used to live with always said that it made me less perfect.

So I was very ashamed of my bit of furr. But Natasja, my new mommy, said she thinks I'm so beautiful and that I'm a perfect little elf even wih furr. And then she showed me pics of Queen Cleopatra (@Cleopatra Beers ), queen of the wintercoat furr. Wow she has such a gorgeous looking wintercoat! And she showed me also pics of other sphynxes with some furr. They're all so beautiful.

So I decided I wanted such a beautiful wintercoat myself. When autumn started I started to think and dream "I want a furrytail, I want a furrytail!"

And look...it's only October and this is what I already have grown

Mommy says she loves my furrytail and she keeps touching it cause it's so soft.

I'm so proud of my furrytail!

What a beautiful furry tail! Hair or hairless each and every baby is perfect. I noticed yesterday Jouët is starting to get a bit fuzzier as always during this time of year.

Yew have a beyoutifool fuzzy tail, an' if yew work real, real hard, before long, yew will have a beyoutifool cape to matchy-match it!! Just like mine!!

Scuse me please, I gotta go supervise Mommie's breakfast now. I swear that our Hoomans would die if we didn't watch over them ta make sure they eat plenty o' food an' give us lots of food too!!

@Cleopatra Beers Queen Cleopatra, I'm so honoured that you wrote me a note and says me furrytale is beautiful. You are so gorgeous looking with your cape. I'm going to think "I want a cape, I want a cape" real real real hard and maybe I'll get a cape like yours. I hope so.

Miss Jade, princess of fuzzy tails, your efforts to grow a silky shield to keep your tail from freezing is top notch! What a purrfect start to a furry coat. Queen Cleopatra, the queen of fuzzy capes looks just beautiful! I love that picture! It's so nice to see your pretty eyes as they are often hidden under your quilts and pillows!
Miss Rosie wants me to add a photo of her winter coat, in the softest white on her little pink tail!

She also wants to point out the accents of soft white hair on her dainty nose and the tufts bits on her ears. It takes a lot of hard work to grow her hair in such a pretty way, which I'm sure Cleopatra and Jade would agree.

Brienne is a very hairy baby. Apparently hormones can affect this a lot. Jade's furry tail is very cute!

@lealea Jade is very impressed by the accents of soft white hair on Rosie's nose and the tuft bits on her ears. Rosie must be working non stop to grow her hair in such a pretty way. Jade also loves the pinkness of Rosie!

The girls get these patches right on their hips of fuzz. We call them hip huggers. And Wolf and Udo are getting their down like fuzz as it gets colder. So good to see all the sphynx getting ready for those colder months.

Min has a little bit of a furry tail... moreso on the tip. And it's super soft downy fur.

Min, on the right, with some fur or hair. Max will never have a furry tail as he sucks on it all the time!!! Note how shiny the end of his tail is. ha ha ha.

Here you can see the fur a little better.

And here!!! She also has these adorable little white tufts coming in behind her ankle!

Hattie has grown the cutest furr all over, started with her head, hips and boots but now it almost covers her whole body, its VERY soft, and its 'sculpted' too- like rows or something...

The rows are just like her wrinkles but still there even when she stretches out.

Sobe has fine down all over and a furry tail. So fine and soft, I love it...

Raskol is still nearly bald with just a little hint of furr on his tail. He acts like he's ticklish if you try to rub his back when he's up, bends every which way to kinda get away from your hand. But, he loves back rubs when he's curled up and resting.

They're all a little different, but all absolutely adorable!!! I wouldn't have them any other way!
