So I was wondering when I get Gizmo fixed if that could make him grow hair...like hairy hair not fuzz? Through the reading I have been doing on here I see that some ppl have hairy sphynx cats and I was wondering how common that was and if certain things can trigger it?? Gizz has fuzz on his paws and tail and feet, but its very light fuzz...Im just wondering

I don't know perhaps some of the more experience will chime in I just know it didn't make my boy hairy but every kitty is different!

Darwin is exactly the same as before he was fixed...fuzz on his nose, ears, and feet. I think the amount of hair has more to do with diet ( I read something about Iams causing hair growth in Sphynx), environment (being cold), and genetics.

I have heard that unaltered female Sphynx can gain and lose hair at different points of their cycle but I have never heard about a male Sphynx getting more hair after getting neutered. I would also be curious to know if anyone has experienced this though.
