Aggressive at Feeding Times

I am having a problem with my cats becoming aggressive toward me during feeding times. I don't know what to do. I feed my cats 4 oz. twice a day. Morning and at night. When I am feeding them, warming it up under warm water, putting it in their bowls, etc. They attack. Run off with the ziplock bags, attack me if I try to get them, knock food off the counter. Basically, they're crazy. Tonight was bad, and I had to stop the process because I was getting angry with them. What can I do to stop this? I feed them consistently, they RARELY miss a meal, and they get snacks during the day. It's really making me want to go back to kibble because they didn't act this way then.

Sorry to hear of your issue. Not sure why this aggression happened only after dry kibble feeding stopped. If this is truly the case and they were never aggressive before at feeding time, I would perhaps try one more can a day perhaps (as long as there is no obvious health issue with weight gain) or go back to kibble. Is there a reason why you stopped kibble?

Also, you can try an exercise, make it habit of having them in another room, closed door, a few minutes before feeding time, prepare their dishes, then they are allowed to come out and eat with you being clear from any harm during preparation. They will eventually learn at dinner time to go to their room if they want to eat, eventually you will not even have to close the door they will just go t their room when feeding time if they want to eat !It takes time and training, but patience will pay off.

Yeah you might want to give them a bit more.
The stuff i use they say 2 oz twice a day, but i feed them way more, i feed them by their weight. One put a bit weight on, so i cut it back a tad.

Great advice so far! I especially like the seperate room idea, it will give you the time to prepare the food and put it down and they will learn that their behaviour is not acceptable.

I would leave dry food out for the day to eat in between meals. I feed Bella only in the morning and then she has dry for the whole day to snack on.
