Air filtration system for enclosed litter box furniture?

Hi, I want my bf to make one of those cabinets to house the litterbox -- you know the ones? They look like an end table or whatever? Anyway, I'd love for him to install some sort of electric filter to remove the poop smell that lingers after our sphynxie goes. It's gawd awful! Just hangs there. Her pee never smells, only poop. Anyway, ideas??

The enclosed furniture is a great idea and being you guys are going to make it that will save lots of $$ because they are costly. As far as a filtration system I am not sure how you would incorporate that.
Have you figured out how much it will cost to build the cabinet? If it will be more than $100 I would say purchase the litter robot for a bit more. We do not have one but have only heard great things about it.
