I am a veterinarian technician.I have two Sphinx they are sisters. I have had them since they were a few hours old the mom passed. These are the first Sphinx I have ever seen in real life an I must say they are an amazing breed. I also own 6 cats with hair everyone gets along great. Ok so the reason I am writing is my hairless babies one always has a rusty color discharge coming from her eyes and is always sneezing mocus, I have tried antibiotics, allergy meds. Her sister is fine. Does anyone have any idea on what else to do I feel bad for her.

Welcome.

And yes, Lysine, 500 mg, twice daily. Maintain with 250 mg twice daily once symptoms have passed.

Also, Sphynx tend to get "eye boogers" more than other cats, which I wipe out with a warm moist cloth.

Welcome :) I have sisters too. One tends to get eye boogers and one doesn't. It can depend on the individual and the level of "hairlessness". Less fuzz they can get dirtier quicker or have more eye goop. The L-lysine should help.
