My little prince sneezes a lot. He is eating, pee and popping, VERY active so I’m not concerned.

Part of me thinks it’s for attention as he mainly does it when we are sleeping and wants our attention!

@PrinceTheSphynx for peace of mind always suggest vet check to make sure no URI. with that said, mine do sneeze sometimes. toby had seasonal allergies. vet told me dosage for weight and instructions of chlortab (walmart) 3 bucks, same as chlortab on petmed sites. can check with your vet if it would be indicated . never give without checking with vet.
do you use scented litter, heavy scented laundry detergent? fabric softeners, candles? that could trigger the sneezing?

When you ladies always tell new moms to be careful of chicken You were not joking. I had to stop giving Shamus meat as I can not get any at the moment and wow what a different cat I have. My walls are no longer decorated with cat snot. He stopped sneezing. I changed everything in his diet to litter and nothing. Everything except the chicken.
He even looks so much healthy and nice clean eyes and face. I am on the BAN THE CHICKEN wagon right now

Did you know that 50% of cats are allergic to chicken! Why don't food companies know this! It says duck but they add chicken! Read the ingrediants before purchase.

OMG I hope that's the answer for my Luna, she has a lot of snot and itchy skin with rashes. I'm taking her to the dermatologist to check it out.

That sounds like an allergy too. I hope they can do a test and find your trigger quicker than it took me to find it. My poor man had a year of snot and my walls had a constant splash of it in every room.

Good luck and May it be a success.

I totally know what you mean with the snot splash bring everywhere, after taking Luna to a specialist and taking some exams, she was diagnosed with chronic rhinosinusitis. At some point the inflammation was so that she had nosebleeds and painted the walls to look like a crime scene. Now she's better with permanent nebulizer treatment.

Yes, she does wear clothes a lot and I'm very careful with the material since once she got red bumps after wearing one specific clothes. Here are the pics.
Everything in my house is hypoallergenic, from the detergent, the litter, the shampoo... I am allergic to dust and hard chemicals myself so she's just like me her momma

I was lucky to have my son telling me that a high percentage of cats are allergic to chicken (he owns pet stores). I quickly found a limited ingrediant food with a protein he never ate. After little time his skin improved, his stolls became normal, he stopped sneezing, and almost no sebum! Since I've introduced other proteins and he is doing with them as well. So, duck, quail and turkey are on his menu. I'll try white fish later.

Hi! This could be a skin allergy due to clothing, blanket or detergents. Have you given a bath to your kitty lately? I wouldn't think its a food allergy. A quick call to your vet may be useful if it becomes worst.

She went 2 months without a bath and it persisted. I havent changed the detergent and no new blankets, the detergent is natural too. Also she licks herself way too much, sometimes she stops playing or eating to lick herself. I'm taking her to see the dermatologist on monday, I'll keep you updated!
