What's even funnier or disturbing depending on how you look at it; (tmi warning!!) one is pierced with a straight bar and he doesn't care which or what part he gets as he'll suck on the balls on the bar too...

Sophie sucks on my chin/neck every night at bedtime and wakes me at least once in the night doing it. Sometimes she will do it to her own arm.
Fair enough I figure for all the kisses I impose on her throughout the day.

I'm working veeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrry hard to dissuade Tully from sucking.
I'm actually breastfeeding a child - and whenever I do, Tully rushes over and lines her body up against him and tries to find a nipple on my shoulder or belly depending!! Looking for the next nipping in the row as if I was a mumma cat.
I spent a few days feeding my sons standing up, now I can keep her at bay mostly with a look or a sound, but she still loses control and hunts for milk at least a few times a day - less and less but still.
I find it just so exceptionally disturbing and I'm a pretty hardcore breastfeeding advocate!!! But I cannot and will not ever EVER breastfeed a cat. Emotionally I cannot be that person, not even by accident!
I never leave a cat in a room with my boys (out of responsible respect for her and them) and thankgoodness because my milk fed 9 month old is such a fascination to her she snuffles over him ALL THE TIME trying to find his nipples because she can smell milk on him. 
He thinks she likes him....little does he know
She's slowly getting over it. Too slowly but it is happening with lots of resentful looks from her and me!
We will get there. Poor bub. Maybe I should get her a cat bottle.

The poor guy, That would weird me out also, but I guess he just doesn't know any better and to him it just seem normal!
I commend you for breast feeding I tried for 2 min. for our son and I just could not do it!

These posts made me laugh after a difficult evening. Especially the one about wearing a vest to bed so the cat doesn't suckle on his nipples.. haha!!
My girl suckles, too. She sucks on her own nipple and usually chooses the same one. It sometimes gets a little brusied- she sucks on it so much. I've tried to stop her but it's impossible... she just loves it. She usually does it before she goes to sleep or when she is really happy in her blankets. It doesn't seem to hurt her or bother her even if the 'nip' is a little bruised.. she just won't stop!
This is amazing - I had no idea that so many sphynxes suckle!! My girl is not alone!

It makes me giggle because I wonder if she assumes human baby is just a really bloated ugly kitten - afterall, they have the same amount of hair and are roughly the same colour and 
they both bite toes!!!
Breastfeeding is normal nothing to admire
and I think I'm too lazy NOT to - roll over, apply baby, go back to sleep . Sorry to hear you had problems, it's so difficult to bottle feed I really feel for you.

My just turned 1yr old bites toes. She'll sneak up and you feel a sharp pain and see a small child hanging off your foot.I don't have any cats that try to nurse, I have droolers though.

Gulliver suckles too, usually a blanket while he's kneading it... Sometimes his own belly... The other day he was sleeping next to me and he was dreaming and suckled the air and it sounded like he blew me a kiss
