Bacterial Infection And Rash -Thoughts?

My 9 month old boy has a terrible rash and the vet said he tested positive for a bacterial infection. His white blood cell count was high at the vet and he was feeling sick and urinating outside the litter box due to stress. He was given a Convenia injection. He is otherwise totally fine now. But the rash is very scary looking. Originally we thought it was a food allergy, but it doesn't seem that way.

I am attaching photos here because I am wondering if anyone has seen a rash that looks like this before? I am very worried about him. Other than the rash he is eating, playing, and seems happy since the Convenia. The rash doesn't seem to be getting better though.I have searched the forums and haven't seen a rash that looks like this one.

This is my newest boy Ambrose. He’s always been on Royal Canin kitten. The vet said she doesn’t think it’s a food allergy due to the bacterial infection/high white blood cell count.

@Sphynxbabies , awh, hugs n positive vibes to sweet Ambrose, members will surely chime in.
other members have shared using Convenia injection.

did vet suggest certain shampoos or hydrolyzed RC food?
what did vet say about high WB count?
I am not a vet, cannot diagnose, wanted to share however we have seen similar rashes in group.
sharing a quick google search:
High white blood cell (WBC) counts paired with skin rashes in Sphynx cats often indicate underlying inflammation, severe allergies, infections, or genetic skin conditions like urticaria pigmentosa. I would personally ask vet to rule out any possibility.

my heart goes out to you. we are here for you.
