As promised I’m here with updates on my little Bones. Hes doing so much better. After my previous post, I wasn't sure if he was going to make it. We had a little vomit, and he spent 2 solid days of barely eating, and sleeping. That worried me a lot, but after that, he was so much more bright than I had ever seen him. He started opening his eyes up all they way, and i could finally see them for what they really were. Which is amazing. He LOVES to sleep on my face. If he not on it, he's in it. It's still a new adjustment to my boy friend. I love the cuddles, but Sebastian is used to being the one sleeping in my face. hehe. Thanks bones. Save me from some snores.

This morning he layed in bed while i got ready, but what he doesn’t want you to know, is he's the one who woke me up at 5 am, ready to play. When I get up, he goes back to sleep...I think it was a ploy to get the bed to himself....sneaky little guy.

We have stopped wrapping his wounds, and today is his last day of antibiotics. Well, tonight. :) He’s stopped tracking litter all over the house, I'm thankful for that, and his wounds are scabbing over and bleeding less. It's nice to see such improvement. I'm still trying to put some weight on him, and his stool is still runny, and he's still a bit gassy. His wounds can still take a tumble in the wrong direction, but I have all the faith in the world that he's going to be just fine.

His health isn't good, but it's definitely BETTER! I know he wouldn't have been able to do it with out all of your guys support and prayers, and advice! Thank you!

I have been waiting for your post. His story has pulled on my heart strings. May I suggest 2 immune system boosters? One is "percoba" which is a colostrum supplement. The other is Lysine which is also an immune system booster. Rarely are there side effects from these immune system boosters. But if you see a rash or any swelling - stop using it. Great for immune compromised cats. They are found at a health foods store in capsule form. Open the capsules onto the wet cat food and mix in. No smell or taste changes and kitty should eat his food as if nothing were there. Hope this helps. I am a fan.

The feelings of genuine love and security you have given him are the best medicine in the world. It's nice to hear he's already rewarding you with "Sphynx tricks" at 5 a.m.!

Please keep the updates coming. We're all cheering for him!

I'm new here, just joined last week. Wow, seems you've been through quite a bit with your baby. I don't know what happened, so may I ask how your cat got the wounds? We wish you good luck & continued recovery. Please keep us updated. Thanx.
