Best store bought kibble? Especially for digestion!

Recommendations on best store bought (grain free) kibble, especially for digestive issues please!!! We have specifically been looking at Blue Buffalo Blissful Belly & Blue Buffalo Veterinarian GI Support... any thoughts or experience with these??? Thanks!

Hoping someone has experience with these. We tried the grain free Buffalo Blue and it was too rich for our crew and we has very loose poop.
Merrick makes a limited ingredient grain free kibble which might be an option for you to look at. Limited ingredient foods are often good for sensitive stomachs. Just remember any change in food takes a while to see results. I always added the new food to existing food until slowly fully transitioned over.

There are actually studies that suggest grain free diets can cause heart disease in cats and dogs. There is a nutrient called taurine that animals get from grains that is essential to their well-being. I personally feed my cats Hills T/D which is a veterinarian diet for dental health, but Hills Science diet, Purina pro-plan, Royal canin and IAMS all are really good brands that can be found at pet stores for a more reasonable price. ❤️

Just fyi taurine is only found in animal protein in meat, dairy and eggs. There are also taurine supplements available. There is no taurine in grains. But it definitely is essential to cat diets!

Yes thank you for the correction! Many cat foods have started adding additional taurine to their kibbles to avoid the risk of dilated cardiomyopathy.

@Itslissalynn , not grain free( my crew did not do good on grain free acana etc so switched many years ago to grain inclusive and never looked back with 4 nakids and a bengal with IBD. feed and go no skin poo or tummy issues.

wanted to share my crew no skin or poo issues on Nutrisource cat and kitten food. using it for years. my IBD kitty does great on it after soo many food trials. I like no recalls either. I get online petflow/k9cuisine. 16 lbs around $35. its a fav here. my moms cat now eats it too.
