BEST TRACKER -

My sweet boy is an awful escape artist — I am literally about to have a stroke - I go bazeeerk with worry ! However, I hate the idea of keeping a tracker on his fragile little neck seven days a week !

Ideas/ thoughts / suggestions ?

@AngelaP , hopeful members will chime in on trackers. Is your escape artist microchipped? if so, be sure to call the company and confirm the one time life time registration fee paid as it is not always included in the registration. If registration was included, call and confirm contact info. on a routine check of mine when registration included staff typo'd transposed my phone contact number.

sharing, to help with escaping thru doors, I trained mine like a dog to a meet and greet chair away from doors when I leave and come home.
I gave command 'chair' and tapped on it and put a treat. it helps some.

also, when leaving , I walk backwards out door with my foot near the bottom edge of door to gently push kitty back. when I enter I open slowly with my foot by the door bottom and give the "chair" command.

*something to be awarw of need to be careful with collars and tags on collars. **they can get stuck on things like furniture, floor vents , etc and cause a choking, strangling risk. not all break away collars break away. my moms cat got lower jaw stuck in break away collar that did not break away hank goodness she was home to save her.
