Birthdays are hard work.... (Fisen is now about 4 years old) Her previous family sent a birthday card with a photo of Fisen when she was about a year old. They miss her but at the same time they are really greatful she's ended up at our house. I'm still so stunned that we got to be her adoptive family. Everyone who parts from a family member, no matter what the reason, deserves some cred for making those hard decisions...
