Blanket recommendations??

This might sound stupid but.... does anyone have any recommendations on blankets??

You might think a blanket is a blanket but apparently my two are blanket connoisseurs and they will only park their bums on top quality bedding

I got some thin fleeces from the local supermarket but they turned their nose up at them!!

They have a few mini blankets from petco but I am looking for some nice ones they will bury in as it's starting to get a bit colder here.

What do your kitties like?? Woolen? Fleece? Cashmere?

Let me know where you got their favourites so I can buy some too.

Emma is a complete blanket snob. Her favorites are high quality faux fur throws, she has 5 of them around the house. Here are a few pics of her lounging on them...

They are amazing, I've sent them across country to other sphynx mommies who wanted some blankie love lol!

Let me know if you want more info and I can get the brand name when I get home tonight!

LOL I am sorry i have to laugh, but they are soooooooooo smart, mine do the same thing !
I bought some fluffy really soft ones at Meijers and they absolutly Love it !!! Then I went to kohls and saw a cute one and they hated it ! They dont use it at all. You have to touch them and when You feel like OMG these are soft - those are the ones to buy. Now my Mom send me a Christmasbox with 2 soft Orange Fleeceblankets for my Couch and she wrote a Note in it and it said "these are for Your couch and for Hairy and Hansel!!" We didnt have Rooka at that time, so yeah they were for my animals !!! From my mom for Christmas! haha She feels so sorry for them because they dont have furr. Oh and they Love my Moms blanket too, because they are super soft.

Upstairs, my boys love the small ivory colored ones from Petco. I have a milliion of them and they each have their own on my bed as they also have their own sacks on my bed as well. I put them in their travel bags too if they have to go out.

On my family room couch, they love these very soft polyester blanket throws I have. They pretty much look and feel like a chenille. Very squishy and warm. They won't lay on the leather couch without the throws down first. LOL That includes the dogs as well.

Guess I am lucky...mine are not picky. Seems we can never have enough of them. I have really only bought fleece ones...warm and easy to wash.

Sounds like soft, fluffy ones are a hit so I will need to look for some of those!

assi's christmas present was "homemade cookies" Yummm!!! And some German chocolate and Gummi Bears from Haribo and lots of other stuff from home ! The best part though is the home made stuff from my parents!!

Note that they are for sale on eBay for 30 dollars. I get mine at Tuesday Morning or Big Lots discount stores for around 10-15 each. They are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Emma is addicted to them!!! When she got sick, we went out and got her 2 new ones...lol

PS: If I get you as my Secret Santa, it is one of my signature gift...

I'm not sure what this blanket is made out of as the tag has been removed but is really soft and my cat LOVES it. It's her favorite! She isn't a blanket snob but she does prefer this one over the others. I think it's a micro fiber blanket.

Cleopatra, along with Sydney and Kermit, is the ultimate blanket snob. I am a hand spinner, knitter and quilter, so she almost always sleeps under the handspun, handknit mohair shawl, the handspun handknit wool sweaters or the handmade quilts. She also loves to sleep in her stroller, which is lined with 2 fleece cat blankets and her Sphynx pocket that I made for her when we got her. BTW, Cleo never gets INTO her Sphynxie pocket; she sleeps on top of it! Here she is wrapped up in the mohair shawl.

I just by the softest throws i can find. They have a few really soft plush baby blankies and they seem to love my chenille throw and faux furs.
