Hi everyone! I posted last week about my new sphynx baby Cairo. He's been home with me now for a week and has settled in quite nicely. His personality is really starting to shine through and he's starting to play more with Boston (his pit bull brother).

I was getting worried about him last because he was having accidents on our couch so I decided to go ahead and take him to the vet to make sure it wasn't a UTI, and the vet said everything looked fine and suggested putting another litter box in the room where he's having the accidents, so I added another litter box today and he went right to it!

I'm completely in love with this little guy and he has been getting compliments everywhere we go!

Cairo is a stunning boy! So glad to hear he is fitting in well.
Good idea checking in with the vet. Sometimes they can be picky about the type of litter you are using, or the type of box.
So glad to hear that another litter box helped with the issue

Did you clean your couch with a enzyme cleaner?
If not, he, will smell his sent, and will do it there again.
Nothing, else, will get rid of the sent.

@Hairless Blessing and @Miranda Smith I do highly recommend Nature's Miracle. I've been using it for almost 30 years now. I have tried many other products when people rave over them or recommend them and I always land up going back to Nature's Miracle. It's the absolute best product I've ever used to clean up after a pet's accidents.
The one I buy is just the generic one and sometimes I'll buy a pretty scented one when I'm adding it to laundry if someone had an accident on bedding, etc.

Cairo is such an adorable little peanut! And you two arw a cute couple. Glad to hear he's doing well. Hopefully the extra litterbos will stop peeing on the couch.
