Hey guys!
I have gotten very concerned about the calcium to phosphorous ratio in my raw food.
I had purchased a bone meal supplement and was adding that but I recently put it all into google translate (it's all in german) and found that the calcium is equal to the phosphorous in it, so it's not doing any good.
I crush up the chicken thigh bones, chicken spines, chicken neck bones as well as I can and put them in there, but he spits the larger pieces out so I'm not sure exactly how much he is really getting.
His stool is small, dark brown, every other day, but it's not very firm.
I think I need to supplement with calcium. I've heard that egg shells are the best for that, any ideas where I might find them locally? I'm in Austin, TX right now.
If not, what are you using to supplement calcium?
