I have been looking for months for the perfect cat, perfect breeder, and the perfect moment to get a sphynx.
I finally found a breeder semi-local; 2 and a half hours away from where I live. We spoke on the phone and she gave me the option of 2 boys, who were older, but I really wanted a female, but the only available one was already being looked at by someone else at the time.

She then explained she had another girl, but she had a kink tail. She is completely healthy. I had to think about it for a bit and work somethings out my landlord. (her sister in the pink collar). She texted me letting me know that if I wanted her sister, that the other buyer changed their mind.

At this point I had fallen in love with the cutie and her coiled tail!
Do to lease reasons I cannot pick her up till after the first of the new year, but I can't wait to bring her home!

I haven't thought of a name yet, but I hope I can come up with something clever do to her unique tail.

She is adorable! Did the breeder know why her tail was bent? Just making sure that she is ok and not in any pain or anything. It is like a curled little piggy tail!

Welcome to sphynxlair, good to have you. Pretty little ladies. Is she giving you a discount because of the tail?
If she is and then, you ask her about, another discount, if you bought the two of them.
Be good to bring both home.

She is in no pain, in fact, the day I called to talk to her about kitties she was taking her to the vet to make sure everything is okay. It does strech out, but not totally straight, still holds a wide curve, but when shes sitting or being still she said she keeps it coiled up.

Yes I am being discounted do to her little tail difference. If my living situation would let me, I would have bought one of the older boys from a different litter home with me too, (theyre discounted do to their age) but I can only have one cat here.

@Bukibun , Welcome!she is gorgeous! So excited for you and her together soon!

Fwiw, she looks like my Adopted Batman tail and all! I love his tail!

My others don't have the "tail dexterity "as I see it! It's so unique because it is literally like a monkey tail - he is very expressive with it!
He curls it, kinks it, straightens it and purrs all at once - you will see :)

I will share some pics! I have his twin brother Yoda who does not have this " tail dexterity"

I can't wait to see a Gotcha day pics!

@Bukibun , it's so funny all the tail positions! When he walks, he holds his tail straight out curved down like a baboon
Walking- I swear he whips that tail over the place!

Definitely gives plenty of smiles and laughter!

He also lifts his back feet doing a little dance . At first it scared me on our first meet/adoption. Both brothers hold their
Tails up & rear feet dance - it looked like they were going to pee! My heart sank!
They don't ever ever spray! It's just their body language when happy talking back to me.

Batman twirls his tail in all kinds of strange shapes while non stop talking and rear dancing feet.

I can't wait to see if your girl dances too with that tail!

Awe that's cute! I've had cats all my life, but this lil' girl will be my first sphynx. I've had cats do this shaky butt thing, and I thought they were spraying, but they weren't they were just saying hi i love you, with their butts haha.

A name came to mind, but I'm still thinking.
Tesla, as in Tesla COIL LUL. I'm clever????? haha.

Yeah I agree, I think she's super pretty and is just perfect the way she is.
The breeder had offered me her sister later if I wanted her instead, but I having been the black sheep of my family, and typically socially awkward. There was no way I could turn this cutie pie away! I love the tail coil, I want her to be my lil' odd ball buddy.
