Changing my avatar?

I'm trying to change my avatar to a picture in one of my photo albums but I keep getting an invalid file message. I am copying the photo URL and pasting it into the URL box underneath my avatar on the edit page..... I don't know what I'm doing wrong? Can anyone help me?

Can't help you , sorry. ( computer challenged) I have done it, but it is hit or miss. I couldn't explain it to you to save my life. Someone will come along to help. Good Luck.

Hi.... I just tried an experiment for you. Instead of copying the URL, try the 2nd option of getting a pic that is saved on your pc. You click, 'browse', select which photo you want, then click open & save changes. It just worked for me. Try it, & let me know how it goes.

That's how I do it... works every time, just make sure your picture is not to big.

I think it has to fit certain measurements that pop up when you try to change it. So stick to that, and also try what the others said about uploading an image from the pictures stored on your computer.

If all else fails, pm one of the admins, perhaps they can help.
