@pussiette , I don't use dental chews , I am afraid of obstructions personally.

members will surely chime in.

I do put down an extra small raised dish of hills urinary hairball kibble.( I use raised dishes as they seem to help especially with Macie's IBD.)

keep us updated, hugs n head smooches.

I have purchased some dental specific toys and some they like others they don’t. As always cats are finicky to textures lol. As far as treats go, you can try it, but unfortunately many cats don’t chew dry kibble or treats and just wolf them down.

I’ve had some luck with those half an inch wide braided bully stick/ pizzle sticks. They also liked those dried salmon skin chews but only for that day lol

While they tolerate Greenies dental chew they give me a mini heart attack every time one appears to choke from gorging it.

My rule of thumb in improving my luck is the chew has to be on the thin/flatter side and preferably textured such as when sprayed on with digest (like on some braided pizzles).

For dental treats, they love Temptations.
