Anyone interested in doing it this year? If so, I will be glad to organize it. Let me know if you want to participate.
  • We have a suggested $30 limit ( you can spend more, but may not get equal value in return if you do.)
  • One of the gifts need to be homemade.
  • Can be for the kitties and their owners if you like.
  • We usually put in a few dollars extra for an insurance gift if someone takes a gift but doesn't send one back out. If we don't have to use it, we donate it back to the Lair.
  • If you want to participate and promise you will send a gift out in return, send me a private message including your name and address, number of kitties you have and their sexes and sizes. Include any allergies or dislikes your babies might have or anything else you think your secret Santa should know. Tell a little about what you and your babies like too. Include info on other pets if you like.
  • Tell if you are willing to send overseas...as the postage can be higher, but often the gifts are different than what we can find which is cool!
Once I find out how many would like to do it, I will give a cut off date to send the info to me, then I will message you back with the person you buy for and the date by which it should be in the mail.

So, right now, I only want to see if there is enough interest to run it this year.

Ending date for sending me the info is May 28th. That gives us 7 days. I will have the name of who you'll be buying for to you by May 30. Then you should have the package mailed by June 21st. That gives us three weeks to get, wrap and mail the gifts. The Christmas in July exchange gifts can be opened as you receive them. Please post pics of what you get as we all like to ooh and aahh over everybody's stuff and it's also nice to acknowledge the giver.
On May 30th, I will tell us all how many people are participating and if you want to put in for the gift insurance fund I will tell you how much and where to send it. We try to collect enough for one gift and postage...so if there are lots of us, it might only be a buck or two each.

I totally agree, that you should participate. Santa gets cookies at Xmas. Everything sounds great to me too. I have to admit I started looking today. One thing I remember from Xmas, is maybe buy 2 of the cat presents. One for the gift and one for my own babies.

We have people from Europe that are participating...you wouldn't have to ship to the USA. If you want to participate just tell me you want to ship only to Europe.
